We are excited to have you stay on campus! We recommend applying early as space is limited and the demand for housing is high. Students renewing their housing contract can do so through the Housing Portal.

March 3, 2025: Starting at 12:00 p.m. Summer 1, 2 and 3 term housing application is available for current students and new transfer students.

Spring

October 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.: Housing application for Spring 2025 opens through the Housing portal. The Spring 2025 housing application will close once spaces have been filled. We anticipate a high demand for spring only housing with limited availability. Due to the high demand for housing, the Housing Portal may exceed the number of allocated users at 9:00 a.m. on October 1. If you cannot complete a housing application, you may add yourself to the Housing Interest form. The Housing Interest Form will be available in the Housing Portal after the housing application closes. Students who add themselves to the Housing Interest Form will receive an email notification in December if we anticipate that we can accommodate them with on-campus housing.

Academic Year (Fall and Spring)

March 3, 2025: Starting at 9:00 a.m. the Housing Interest Form for Fall 2025 is available for admitted transfer students who have paid their tuition deposit, graduate students, and current students who did not renew their housing application. Students who add themselves to the Housing Interest Form will be notified at their FAU email if spaces become available and invited to complete a housing application. Please note the Housing Interest Form is not an application for housing. It is the student’s responsibility to check their FAU regularly for Housing updates.

ROOMMATE/SUITEMATE SELECTION
- Returning students who participate in the housing contract renewal process may preference roommates and suitemates only during renewal process.
- Roommate requests take priority over room type preferences (i.e. single room). Roommate matching is not guaranteed; however, we will make every attempt to match roommates that are mutually requested.
